Academic and Administrative Roles

After completing my residency training at İstanbul Bilim University, I fulfilled my compulsory state service in Muş; I then worked for more than nine years at Mehmet Akif Ersoy Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital, one of the highest-volume cardiovascular surgery centres in Türkiye, first as a specialist physician and, after receiving my associate professorship, as a training faculty member. Since 2026 I have been serving as Head of the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital, where I carry out both clinical service and residency training.
